Adding a 'favorites' icon
to your web site
for ie5 users

Update: I've noticed that this "feature" doesn't always
work as it's supposed to. Perhaps I'm not doing something right, but I've
noticed it with just about every site that tries to use a favicon, so
maybe it's an issue with ie5 itself.
Internet explorer 5 has a feature that MS likes to call "branding"
where you, as a web designer can designate an icon that users will see
if they add your site to their 'favorites'.
Simply place an icon named 'favicon.ico' in the root directory of your
website and ie5 users will see that under their favorites menu. You can
also name the icon something else and/or place it in another location,
simply follow the instructions on the MS page (below).
