Change your browser's default font

04/07/99

In Internet Explorer 5
Simply go to Tools (in IE4 it's View) | Internet Options.
From the General tab, click on the fonts button.

Now simply change the font under Proportional font. You can also adjust the size with the Font Size box.

10/4/99 Update: Internet explorer 5 also has a setting that allows you to change the relative size of the font from Smallest to Largest. You can find this under View | Text Size.

In Netscape 4.x
Go to Edit | Preferences and then Fonts under Appearance.
There you can change the Variable Width Font and Size.

You can try a few different fonts to see which font you like the most.

The default on Windows machines is Times New Roman, but I switched to Verdana, I love it so.
